MV/HV Polymeric Tape Supply

For production of materials for its factory splicing service Power CSL operates modern polymeric tape extrusion facilities housed in an ISO Class 6 clean room.

The extrusion line is suitable for production of cable jointing tapes and is fitted with a sophisticated optical monitoring device which ensures tapes are free from damaging microscopic contaminants.

As well as the full factory splicing service Power CSL offers a tape manufacturing service for Clients who carry out in-house power core splicing.

Tape products include :-

  • XLPE jointing tapes manufactured from cable extrusion compounds for medium and high voltage AC &DC factory jointing application
  • Semi-conducting tapes manufactured from cable extrusion compounds for medium and high voltage AC & DC factory jointing application
  • Tapes manufactured from cable sheathing compounds for factory jointing and cable repair applications

Power CSL will produce polymeric tape to individual Client specification.
