Power CSL’s facilities at their headquarters in Kent, UK include impressively equipped cable jointing workshops, a dedicated high voltage laboratory, and  wide range of analytical, mechanical, and hyperbaric test capabilities.

Due to the niche nature of subsea cable products the testing equipment required is highly specialised. Power CSL has invested heavily in the bespoke test apparatus needed to confirm product performance. In addition to servicing its own needs Power CSL’s extensive testing facility is available as a service to customers.

Power CSL offers a familiarisation service to third party technicians in installation of its offshore products. Course programmes involve the technicians producing samples under supervision which are then subjected to applicable tests in order to confirm the quality of build. This combination of instruction review, sample production, and test verification provides high confidence in the technicians’ qualification.
