Enhanced Mechanical Strength MV & HV OWF Array Cable Repair Joints

For both Power CSL MV & HV array cable repair joint systems an enhanced strength casing and vertebrae bend restrictor option is available.

This Series 2 design option has a higher bending moment capacity than the standard repair joint products allowing :-

Installation in more severe sea states which can prevail through winter months. Installation analysis can be based upon the high bending moment capacity of the repair joint and bend restrictor system (100 kNm SWL)
Reduction in weather window waiting time (and associated vessel costs)
Both in-line deployment and omega deployment without the need for spreader beam or complex rigging

Whilst this design option carries a premium it does allow installers greater flexibility in planning offshore works, and simplifies the repair vessel deck spread for a given project.
